In two separate developments, unidentified armed men targeted a gas pipeline in Mirpur Khas area of Sindh while a vehicle carrying minerals was also attacked in Kalat district of Balochistan.
According to reports, unidentified individuals bombed a natural gas pipeline heading from Balochistan’s Sui to Punjab near Mirpur Khas city of Sindh on Tuesday night. The explosion reportedly caused a suspension of gas supply to several areas.
Soon after the incident, Pakistani forces and police cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. Meanwhile, a natural gas well in Pir Koh of Dera Bugti was also targeted. Further reports regarding this incident have not been ascertained yet.
Similarly, unidentified armed men opened fire on a vehicle carrying minerals in the Khanezai area of Kalat. No casualties were reported in the attack immediately.
So far, no armed groups or individuals have claimed responsibility for the aforementioned attacks.
