Four new cases of enforced disappearances emerged from the Awaran district of Balochistan.
According to reports, the Pakistani Army has allegedly forcibly disappeared four Baloch men from the Jhao tehsil of Awaran district.
The detainees have been identified as Mehmood son of Fateh Muhammad, Pirjan son of Ibrahim, Patto son of Rahmat and Bahot son of Khudabakhsh.
It’s pertinent to mention that Enforced disappearances are not uncommon in Balochistan, with cases being reported in the region almost every day. Human rights groups have confirmed that Pakistani law enforcement officials have allegedly forcibly disappeared thousands of people, including teachers, doctors, and students, from different parts of Balochistan.
