Two Baloch youths were allegedly forcibly disappeared by Pakistan’s law enforcement agencies from Kharan district of Balochistan on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday.
According to reports, two minor children were forcibly disappeared allegedly by paramilitary Frontier Corps (FC) personnel in a raid near Syed Momin Shah Mosque in the Wadh area of Kharan, at 2:00 am.
The detainees have been identified as Abdul Qadeer, son of Muhammad Arif Yalanzai, and Salah-U-din, son of Mohammad Khan Yalanzai, aged 13 and 14.
Local sources told TBP correspondent that both detainees are basically residents of Guash But, who were in their house at the time of the raid.
It’s worth mentioning that enforced disappearances are not uncommon in Balochistan, and incidents of forced disappearances are reported on a daily basis from different parts of the region.
