Three dead bodies were brought to the Teaching hospital in Khuzdar district of Balochistan on Wednesday.
According to the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), these individuals were killed in an operation. CTD authorities claimed that three members of a militant group were killed in an exchange of fire.
CTD alleged that from the possession of the deceased individuals, a motorcycle, one locally-made explosive device, three hand grenades, one pistol, and two Kalashnikov rifles were recovered.
It is worth noting that in Balochistan, there have been previous instances where CTD has claimed to have killed alleged militants, who were later proven to be previously forcibly disappeared persons.
The identities of the deceased individuals have not been ascertained yet.
