The classes of Balochistan’s largest medical colleges will start on Friday after more than two months of continuous boycotts and protests by the teachers and students.

According to reports, all classes in Bolan Medical College, which have been closed for more than two months, will resume regularly from Friday.

In a notice issued by the administration, it has been said that the students of the Bolan Medical College are informed that classes and other activities will be started in the college from July 21.

The protests by teachers in BMC suspended all academic activities in the university for at least two months. While the students also protested and held press conferences. The students said that all the medical colleges of Balochistan are suffering, the students support the constitutional protest of the teachers and urge the authorities to fulfill the demands of the teachers so that the students and teachers should not face further disruption in education.

After the announcement of the resumption of classes by the University on Wednesday, the students said that this is the victory of their struggle “but they will continue to support the rightful protests to solve the ongoing problems in the institution.”
