A series of separate incidents across Balochistan have resulted in several fatalities.
In Nushki, two men, identified as Babo Hameed Mandai and Shafqat, were killed when unknown assailants opened fire at a bus station. Local sources reported that Mandai had former connections with a “pro-independence” armed group before he allegedly surrendered to state forces.
Following the incident, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a “pro-independence” armed group operating in Balochistan, issued a press statement. They claimed responsibility for Mandai’s death, labelling him a key member of a state-sponsored “death squad.”
In another incident, a 14-year-old boy tragically drowned in Turbat. The victim, identified as Zahoor Ahmad, drowned while bathing in the Kech Kaur. Ahmad was a local resident from Turbat Aapsar.
In Dera Bugti, a young man named Nadeem Bugti fell from a mountain and died while he was herding goats.
Meanwhile, in Dera Murad Jamali, Ishaq Wajah was reportedly shot dead in his home by unknown assailants. The motivation behind this incident remains unclear.
