An explosion at an explosives store belonging to the Wah Nobel company within the Saindak Project in Balochistan has injured three Frontier Corps (FC) personnel and another guard.
According to project management, the incident occurred at a storage facility located in a mountainous region approximately 5 km away from the Saindak Project and Township area. Images shared on social media showed high flames, while witnesses reported hearing a loud blast.
Those injured in the explosion were transported to the Saindak Project Hospital for immediate medical attention. The extent of their injuries remains unclear.
The cause of the explosion remains uncertain. The project management suggests potential reasons could be an electrical short circuit, heat from the sun, or other unidentified factors. Investigations are underway by both the Saindak Project and the local police.
