A Baloch missing person has been released after 8 years of abduction from the Nushki district of Balochistan.

According to reports, a man named Durr Khan Marri had been released after eight years of detention. Durr Khan was allegedly detained along with 7 other individuals by Pakistani forces in 2015 from the Nushki district.

It is to be mentioned that the other abductees who had gone missing with Durr Khan were Shehzad Langove, Dolat Hassani, Mazaar, and others who have been released at different times, in different locations. Shehzad Langove had lost his mental health when he was brought to the surface after severe torture.

It should be noted that more than 45,000 people are reported missing in Balochistan. International campaign groups including Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International accuse Pakistani security forces as the perpetrators of enforced disappearances in Balochistan.
