Seven people, including two brothers, have been reportedly detained by Pakistani forces from Balochistan’s Khuzdar, Noshki, and Mastung districts –while two forcibly disappeared persons have been released.
The seven forcibly disappeared men have been identified as Usama s/o Haji Wahid Mengal, his brother Naseebullah s/o Haji Wahid Mengal, residents of Noshki Qaziabad, Nadir Hussain s/o Muhammad Khan r/o Mashkay Gajjar, Muhammad Asif s/o Murad, Javed s/o Abdullah r/o Khuzdar, Fahad s/o Muhammad Waris and Aslam Kurd.
Two of these brothers, Osama and Naseebullah, were detained allegedly by Pakistani forces from the Qaziabad area of Noshki and disappeared. Naseebullah had recently completed his studies at Multan University and returned to his hometown.
Nadir Hussain and Muhammad Asif were detained on Monday from the houses of their close relatives in the Koshk area of Khuzdar and were reportedly shifted to an undisclosed location.
Sources said that Nadir Hussain, a student who is originally from the Mashkay area of Balochistan but had migrated to Hub Chowki for his safety due to the numerous military operations in his hometown. He had recently come to meet his sister in Khuzdar when he went missing, family sources said.
Meanwhile, Pakistani forces reportedly detained Javed s/o Abdullah, and Fahad s/o Muhammad Waris from the Jafarabad area in Khuzdar and shifted them to an undisclosed location.
Four more people have been allegedly abducted from Khuzdar, however the abdutees have not been identified yet.
Similarly, a man named Aslam Kurd was detained allegedly by Pakistani forces from the Dasht area of Mastung. The man is basically a resident of Mach. He was earning his living by herding.
According to reports, Twon men named Hamza son of Shikari, and Jasul son of Khairo allegedly disappeared by Pakistani forces, were released in Bolan and returned to their homes.
