Five people reportedly went missing from Kech district and Karachi city, sources have revealed.

According to reports, Pakistani forces have allegedly detained 5 people from two different locations. The detainees were identified as Ahmed Nazeer, Shoaib Liaqat, Baba Murad, Waris, and Asif

According to the eyewitnesses, the Pakistani forces tortured and forcibly detained Ahmed Nazeer and Shoaib Liaqat from the Absar area of the Turbat city of Kech district on Wednesday night.

It is to be noted that last night three people have reportedly gone missing from the same area after the arrest, one of which has been identified as Tahir s/o Ustad Aziz.

On the other hand, there are reports that forces detained three people named Baba Murad, Waris and Asif from the Sarguwat Killari area of Liyari, a Baloch-majority area in Karachi.

According to sources, Pakistani forces raided a house and allegedly disappeared Baba Murad after the arrest. During the raid, the women and children resisted due to which they were tortured.

While the forces raided the Marriott Hotel and forcibly disappeared Asif and Waris and moved them to an unknown location. According to the sources, all three are security guards at the Marriott Hotel by profession, who have been subjected to enforced disappearance by the forces.
