Students in Quetta’s Regional Training Institute are forced to leave their training midway due to the ‘inappropriate behavior’ of the RTI staff. The students claim they are being compelled to do the chores, such as cleaning, cooking, washing et cetera because the people employed for this purpose are drawing salaries without doing their job.
Students at the training centre say that they have lodged multiple complaints to the principal, but no avail. They said that the principal’s silence on the matter poses a question about his involvement in the matter.
The students said the RTI administration is paying no attention to the cleanliness and hygiene of the hostel – the people employed for cleaning and washing the kitchen and the corridors are drawing full salaries without doing their jobs. Students are being forced to do the cleaning of the hostel, they said.
The students said they had complained many times, but their pleas fallen on deaf ears.
