Pakistani security forces have launched a house-to-house search operation in Balochistan’s industrial city, Hub Chowki, on Thursday.
According to reports, Pakistani forces conducted a house-to-house search at Zehri Colony in Hub Chowki. Plainclothes personnel were also present during the search and were checking identity cards.
Forces reportedly detained two persons on Thursday night and transferred them to an unknown location; since then, no information has been received about them. The identities of the said persons are yet to be ascertained.
It is is to mention that, after the Baloch Liberation Army’s attacks in Noshki and Panjgur, as well as the recent killing of a “government-backed death squad member” by the BLA in Hub city, the raids by the Pakistani army have been increased in the area. Earlier this week, the forces reportedly raided the house of the slain BLA fighter, Anil Baloch in Hub city.
According to reports, the forces assaulted the women and other people present in the house during the raid and their phones were taken away as well.
The district and government officials are yet to comment on these raids.
