A man, together with his two sons, has allegedly killed his daughter on suspicion of theft of PKR 50,000 ($280).

The incident took place in Rahi Nigor area of Panjgur district of Balochistan on Thursday.

According to details, a man named Adul Ghafoor killed his daughter named Ganj Malik on suspicion of stealing cash from their home.

Reportedly a religious cleric suggested to the man that his daughter could be the theif. Acting on the suspicion, the accused man and his sons Sudheer and Chakar brutally tortured Ganj Malik, injuring her severally. Ganj Malik succumbed to her injuries. The father and sons then burried her in a desolated area. 

The incident has sparked anger and residents of the area are demanding arrest of the accused killers.

As per the latest reports, the local administration has arrested one of the accused, while further investigation is underway into the matter.
