Pakistani forces have been reportedly targeted in two different attacks in Panjgur and Kolwah areas of Balochistan. The Baloch armed groups have claimed responsibility for the attacks.
According to details, two Baloch “pro-independence” armed groups, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and Balochistan Libration Front (BLF) have claimed responsibility of two separate attacks on Pakistani army in Panjgur and Kolwah.
Jeeyand Baloch, the spokesperson for BLA in a statement has said, “on March 26, the BLA fighters carried out an attack on the check post of Pakistani forces in Gichk Jwantak area of Panjgur. “Heavy weaponry were used in the attack, which inflicted due to life and financial losses on the enemy forces, Jeeyand Baloch added.
Whereas, another armed group, the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has taken the responsibility of another attack on Pakistani army in Kolwah. Major Gorham Baloch, the spokesperson for BLF said in a press release that their fighters have targeted Pakistani troops on March 24, in Gishanag Mari Abad area of Kolwah, when they were entering in a mountain range.
The BLF spokesman said that their frontline fighters targeted six Pakistani soldiers when they were entering the range of nearest mountain. “All of the six died on the spot, due to which the enemy retreated,” he further stated.
Both the armed groups have warned that their such attacks will be continued on Pakistani army until their goal of independence is achieved.
