Fishermen from Gwadar, staged a sit-in protest on Thursday at Zeropoint in Pasni.
At the call of Haq Do Tehreek, thousands of local fishermen staged a sit-in on the Makran Coastal Highway at Pasni Zero Point, suspending the road connecting Makran and Karachi for traffic.
Protesters said that Balochistan government has failed to implement their demands after ending the Gwadar sit-in and their basic demands have not been met.
They said that illegal trawling is going on in the Baloch Sea and border trade is being closed while public humiliation is still taking place by the security forces at check posts.
The protesters said that if the government did not take their demands seriously, they would stage sit-in protests in front of Gwadar port indefinitely.
