According to sources, on Wednesday night Pakistani forces raided the Ismail Ward area of Gwadar. As a result six people were arrested and shifted to unknown locations. Sources also said that forces have also allegedly beaten up the women and children.

Three of the victims of ‘enforced disappearances’ were identified as Salah s/o Munir, Qadir Dad s/o Deen Mohammad and Yasir s/o Hameed. However, the other three have not been identified yet.

Despite government claims of resolving the issues of missing persons, enforced disappearances have seen a rise in Balochistan.

On 12th of June four Baloch youngsters were also forcibly disappeared from tehsil Tump of Balochistan. One of the detainee, identified as Gwaram s/o Nadil was allegedly killed in detention and his body was later handed over to the family.

Sources also confirmed that a young Baloch TikToker, Sami Baloch, had safely reached home Yesterday. Sami Baloch was allegedly abducted by the security officials from Quetta on 25th of May 2021.

Families of enforced disappeared persons have been protesting for over a decade for the safe release of their loved ones. According to the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, every day a new family appears in our protest camp, searching for their loved ones.
