A young student has gone missing after being reportedly detained by the Pakistani security forces from student hostel in the Sindh University. He has been moved to an undisclosed location, and there is no information about his condition and wellbeing yet.

According to the details, Irfan Jatoi, a Sindhi youth, has been reportedly detained by the Pakistani security forces from the university hostel. The Voice for Missing Persons of Sindh (VMP-Sindh) has said in a statement that the rate of “enforced disappearances” has skyrocketed in the past few days. VMP-Sindh said that Jatoi is the fourth youth to go missing in the past few days.

Earlier this, two activists of Jiye Sindh Tehreek, Waheed Gadehi and Waqash Sharma were abducted from Karachi, last night. Whereas, a nationalist political activist named Mumtaz Soomro was forcibly disappeared while traveling from Larkana to Sakhar city of Sindh, VMPS spokesperson Sorth Lohar said.
