Pakistani Security forces arrested and allegedly “disappeared” a person from Tump area of kech district in Balochistan on Wednesday.
According to the details, security forces arrested a person from Sanken, Gomazi area of Tump, who has been identified as Denaar S/o Haider.
As per the eyes-witnesses, Denar was arrested while on his way to a local market. “Security forces along with members of state-sponsored local militia tied Deenar’s feet and hands and whisked him away, since then his whereabouts remain unknown,” the locals and relatives of Deenar claimed.
According to campaign groups, such incidents are common in Balochistan as security forces continue to ‘abduct’ suspects. No court proceedings are followed after the arrests and the detainees are kept under incommunicado detention. Security forces later deny the arrests, therefore, the arrests are widely known as abductions.
Many of such persons have been killed and their dead bodies have been found dumped on roadsides.
