Two members of Pakistani security forces were killed by unknown assailants in Noshki, Balochistan on Thursday. Baloch Liberation Army has claimed that its fighters were behind the attack.
According to details, armed assailants opened fire on personnel of Pakistani security forces in Inam Bostan Road, a busy market in Noshki, on Thursday afternoon. Two members of Pakistani forces were killed in the attack while a passerby sustained injuries.
The personnel killed in the attack have been identified as Asgher and Shahid, whereas, the injured passerby is Murad Shah, a resident of Qadir Abad.
Later, Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a “pro-independence” armed group, claimed responsibility and said its fighters carried out the attack.
Jeeyand Baloch, the spokesperson of BLA, in a statement released to media said that those killed in the attack were members of Pakistani intelligence agencies.
BLA said that it also warns “few elements in Noshki town, that are active against Baloch nation struggle on behest of Pakistani forces, to shun their activities or they will be targeted.”
BLA vowed that its “attacks against Pakistani forces and its agents will continue until the independence of Balochistan.”
