A protest was held in Chemnitz, Germany, on Tuesday by the Baloch Republican Party (BRP) against the human rights violations in Balochistan.
According to a media statement by Sher Muhammad Bugti, the spokesperson for BRP, a demonstration was organized in Germany against the human rights abuses in Balochistan. Scores of people participated in the protest. The protestors carried portraits of Hayat Baloch, the twenty-five-year-old student who was killed by Frontier Corps in cold blood in Turbat, and several other missing persons.
The organizers reportedly pitched an awareness camp after the demonstration and distributed pamphlets detailing the military operations and enforced disappearances and other human rights abuses in Balochistan. The participants said that the lettered faction of Balochistan is being systemically targeted.
Attaullah, Aftab Ahmad, Muhammad Azeem, Sakhi Baloch and Zahid Ali of the Baloch Republican Party appealed to the German government and human rights organizations to take notice of and raise voice against the human rights abuses in Balochistan.
BRP had also organized a demonstration in Dortmund, Germany, on 12th September against enforced disappearances in Balochistan. The BRP members addressed the crowd, saying that Balochistan currently corresponds to a war-stricken zone. They had said women, children and intellectuals from several schools of thought are targeted.
The demonstrators then appealed to the human rights organizations to take notice of the human rights violations in Balochistan.
