The Baloch movement almost has everything which is required for a national movement. From mass political parties, student organization, and online media outlets to armed organizations; these are the institutions which are needed for the mobilization of Baloch masses in the movement.

But there is still something lacking. It seems that state is very dominant on the movement. State stirs the emotions of Baloch people sometimes in its favor by releasing some missing persons, and sometimes against it by extrajudicially killing, arresting and raiding some areas.

It is very surprising to see that there is a one-party show in the Baloch movement, and that single party is the state, and Baloch has become the second party which always waits for the state to do something and they will do something in reaction. If Baloch has become the second party of the movement, then it means that there is something extremely wrong here.

Now we need to analyze that what is it that has made us (the Baloch) object in the movement despite being the subject. Baloch has to be the first party, the deciding-force, in the movement, not the second party, because it has been the Baloch which has been deciding and leading the movement towards its last destination; the freedom of Balochistan.

What I think, on the basis of observation of the political activities of Baloch institutions; peaceful and armed ones, that the Baloch faces the problem in the strength of its human force. Human force is required to carry out campaigns of mobilization in every front of the movement, and, unfortunately, the available human force of the movement is dispersed in the bodies of different parties.

Let’s analyse how the dispersed human power is affecting the activities of the movement. There are few key issues which the Baloch highlight internationally such as the 11th August; the Baloch Independence Day, the 27th March; the day when Pakistan forcefully annexed Balochistan, the 28th May; the day when Pakistan tested its nuclear weapons in Balochistan whose devastating impacts are being suffered till date.

Despite being the national days, these days are also observed on the basis of individual party-basis which has divided the Baloch human force and these issues have not been highlighted in a way as they have to be internationally because of the division of the human force.

If the Baloch institutions want to work in their individual party set-up, let that be. But there are number of occasions where you have to show your man-power by multiplying your human force on a single day or at a single issue, and for this purpose the Baloch institutions just have to make coordination among them.

This coordination will enable them to use their scattered human force at a single task for a single moment, and that coordination will fully serve the interests of the Baloch movement and will hurt the enemy where it feels it very hard.

Therefore, I request the Baloch political activists to begin debate on the idea of inter-institutional coordination among the mass parties, in the student organization and between the armed organizations. This rational debate will surely be a decisive point in the Baloch national struggle for independence and sovereignty of Balochistan.
