In Balochistan it is a normal practice to abduct or kill any innocent man, woman elderly person or a child.

Only in last two decades thousands of people have been abducted and killed by the Pakistani state forces. Most of those were political activists, doctors, journalist, lawyers, intellectuals and teachers.

With every single day the Pakistani state creates new records of brutality while completely ignoring the ethics of war. In any conflict in a civilised world. If one party kills a soldier the other party they are bound to respect the bodies of killed enemies and not to disrespect them. But in Pakistan there is no such thing as respecting the international law or respecting a dead body.

What Pakistan army only knows and understand is how to use their power to scare the people and force them to surrender from their struggle of basic rights.

In a similar event on 26th of April 2020 Pakistani army started a brutal operation against Baloch freedom fighters in Panjgur region of Balochistan. Four Baloch freedom fighters were surrounded by the Pakistani army and intelligence agencies personnel.

They knew that there is no way out for them. They had only two options left one was to surrender in front of Pakistani state and second was to fight till the last bullet. They choose the second option and started their last battle against Pakistani army. The battle lasted for more than 16 hours. One among those freedom fighters known as major Noora alias Peerak have sent a voice message to one of his friend explaining all the situation to them. In his voice message he sounds calm and confident. He urges his friends to be active and keep this war continued till the freedom of Balochistan. He also tells his friends that his time has arrived and he will see them again on the other side of the world.

When troops of Pakistani forces faced defeat against these four guerrilla fighters of Balochistan Liberation Front. They were forced to call more forces and gunship helicopters. The four guys, fighting with an AK47 and was carrying the ideology of freedom, fought till the last bullets in their gun.

At the end, they were killed. But they were ready for this death and even there friends and family were aware that the path they’ve chosen only leads to freedom or death. But no one was aware that after their martyrdom, the army will drag their dead bodies behind their vehicles. The army wanted to set an example by doing this inhuman act. They wanted to scare the masses to stop raising voices against the suppression of people of Balochistan.

They were wrong because the only thing which brutality and barbarism brings is resistance and more resistance. When in one part of occupied Balochistan, Pakistan was celebrating the killing of four Baloch youth, who had chosen the path of armed struggle to regain their freedom.

In other parts of Balochistan the Baloch freedom fighters were carrying the idea of freedom and moving forward with the thinking Of Major Peerak and his companions.

As Omar Mukhtar the greatest warrior of history said to the officer of oppressive regime “ We will never surrender. We win or we die. And don’t think it stops there. You will have the next generation to fight; and after the next, the next. As for me, I will live longer than my hangman.”

It seems the youth of Balochistan are following the path and idea of Libyan warrior Omar Mukhtar and with each passing day and with growing injustices the Baloch youth are becoming part of the greatest cause of the freedom.
