Baloch Students Organization’s (BSO_Azad) has released a statement paying tributes to their national leaders who were said to be murdered in the struggle of independence of their Land.
The spokesperson for the organization states “Baloch National Movement’s Chairman Ghulam Mohammad Baloch, Lala Munir, also of the BNM and Sher Mohammad Baloch, of the Baloch Republican Party (BRP) were extrajudicially picked up by Pakistani secret agencies on April 3rd, 2009 from Turbat. The three were picked up from the chamber of Advocate Kachkol Ali in Turbat and then their decomposed bodies were found five days later on April 9, 2009. The three were actively affiliated with Baloch political parties and were prominent leaders in Balochistan.”
“Balochistan is facing atrocities from the day when Pakistan entered the Baloch territory. Whether he was Nouroz Khan in 1960s or killing of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti in 2006, each Baloch faced the brutality by the oppressor”, statement read.
In the statement the student organization addresses the world saying “In Balochistan neither men nor women and children are safe. Security agencies are now abducting Baloch women and infants. Thousands of people are missing and no one has any trace about them. Families have concerns about their lives, many families had appealed the government that if there are any charges on them then they should be brought in front of the court.”
“We pay huge tribute to Martyrs of Murgaap who sacrificed their lives for the sake of Baloch identity and National Cause. It is because of Baluch martyrs that Baloch national movement did not bowed her head in front of any brutality,” statement read.
The organization appeals the world that Balochistan is an occupied state and it is the duty of International state community to take action against state aggressions. “We urge the Human Rights Organizations to intervene in Balochistan issue, take notice against the injustice and Baloch genocide,”,it said.
BSO-Azad is a student organization and supporting the Balochistan’s independence movement. Pakistan government has banned the organization in the country since March 2013.
According to BSO-Azad, Pakistani intelligence agencies and security forces have abducted and killed hundreds of its members. “Zahid Baloch, ex-chairman and Zakir Majeed, the voice chairperson of the organization are still under the custody of forces,” BSO_Azad claims.
