Pakistani security forces’ vehicle targeted by a bomb on the RCD highway in Khuzdar district of Balochistan.
According to military officials, the Frontier Corps team was on a routine patrol at ZeroPoint on the RCD highway when a roadside landmine exploded. The vehicle was also damaged as a result of the explosion.
According to authorities, the explosives were already installed on the roadside.
Initially, the authorities did not say anything about casualties while the forces have cordoned off the area and started a search operation.

According to sources, the forces on the patrol were targeted at Goarkop Thal, after which the attackers managed to flee.
Some tentative reports of army casualties in the attack has been received but military officials have not yet commented.
In the past, Baloch militant organizations had been responsible for various such attacks on Pakistani forces in Balochistan, in which the forces had suffered massive casualties. However, no organization has yet claimed the responsibility for today’s attacks.
