BLA has taken the responsibility of a bomb attack on 14 August rally in Mastung.
According to details received by The Balochistan Post, Jeeyand Baloch, the spokesman for Baloch Liberation Army has claimed the responsibility of an attack saying that “BLA fighters have attacked the 14 August rally with an IED blast near Peshkaram Lada area of Mastung city”.
BLA spokesperson further stated “celebrating the day of 14 August, under the supervision of Pakistani intelligence agencies, few so called parties are unsuccessfully trying to prove Balochistan a part of Pakistan. Main purpose of such rallies is diversion from Baloch movement and to show that Baloch people are happy with this artificial state of Pakistan but reality is absolutely opposite. This day means a black day in Balochistan and for that reason the participants of the rally against Baloch cause were targated.
“Bomb wasn’t intense to prevent the casualties, it was just to warn the people to stay away from such rallies and programs otherwise they will be the ones responsible for any damages”, he added.
In another news, BLA claimed attacking a stall set for August 14 events in Hub area of Balochistan.
Jeeyand Baloch said, “the stall was attacked by automatic weaponry near Ali Sher petrol pump. He said that Pakistan army is forcing Baloch people against their will to celebrate this day. It is to impose Pakistani Punjabi history on Baloch people which will never be accepted”.
In the statement the spokesperson of the organisation has also warned the police forces to avoid being hurdles for Baloch fighters.
