Unknown assailants opened fire on Levies, a government paramilitary force, in Zehri Khuzdar District in Balochistan.

According to the details received by the Balochistan Post, unknown armed men opened fire on Levies forces patrolling team when they were on regular patrol in Zehri Khuzdar District.

As a result of firing Levies Officer Saeed Zehri and multiple other team members got injured.

According to initial reports, armed assailants were able to escape after the attack.

The deceased and injured have been taken to the civil hospital in Khuzdar.

The motives of the attack have not been ascertained neither any organisation has claimed responsibility for the attack at the time of filing this report.
