Two Baloch students have gone missing from different areas of Balochistan.

According to details received by The Balochistan Post, residents of district Kech and district Mastung, two baloch students have been arrested and moved to undisclosed locations by Pakistani forces.

As per the locals, Pakistani forces abducted a ‘gold medalist’ student from Turbat area of district Kech on Wednesday. He has been identified as, Raziq s/o Abdullah, resident of Geshkor.

Raziq is a holder of Masters degree and a gold medal from University of Balochistan Quetta.

Whereas, another student was abducted on 19 April 2019 from Hernai area of Balochistan.

The abductee has been identified as, 21-year-old Sheroz Baloch s/o Mohammed Akbar, resident of Mastung.

In another news, Identification of two missing persons from last month as been ascertained.

According to the sources, Pakistani forces raided the house of Mr. Abdul Qadir s/o Kareem Dad, last month in Mand area of Balochistan. Forces whisked away two men during the raid, whereabouts of whom are still unknown.

The abductees have been identified as, Abdul Qadir and Amjad s/o Doshambay.

The term ‘abducted’ is widely used in Balochistan to connote arrests made by security forces as the arrested are not presented before court of the law and instead kept in military camps.

According to Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP), the campaign group by families of victims, more than 40,000 Baloch men, women, and children are under the custody of Pakistani Army.
