Chairperson of Baloch Students Organization-Azad, Sohrab Baloch, on the completion day of the former chairman Zahid Baloch’s five years enforced disappearance said that Zahid Baloch was the supporter of the peaceful struggle and he kept educating the youth against the national slavery and for the independence of Baloch motherland through peaceful struggle.
“Zahid Baloch was an example of commitment, courage and morale and he is a role model for the young students”, he said.
BSO chairman further stated, “The enforced disappearance and extrajudicial killings of peaceful political leaders and activists proves that the state seems frightened due to the peaceful struggle of Baloch students because the peaceful struggle of Baloch Students Organization Azad has played an important role in highlighting the state oppression before the world”.
“Several leaders and activists of BSO Azad have been enforcedly disappeared in order to neutralize the effects of this fear and the disappearance of Zahid Baloch is linked with the same state fear”.
Sohrab Baloch further said that “the organization has tried to highlight the disappearance case of Zahid Baloch in entire world, contacted with number of human rights institutions and staged hunger strike camp but Zahid Baloch hasn’t been surfaced so far and his family is also not informed about his life which is a serious violation of human rights”.
