Body of a Baloch Missing Person found in Hub city after remaining missing for 3 years
According to the TBP correspondent, body of an elderly man was brought to the hospital last night in Balochistan’s industrial city, Hub.
At the hospital, the body was identified as Ilahi Bakhsh S/O Peer Jan R/O Jhaoo Doleji town of Awaran district.
Later, it was confirmed by TBP sources, Mr Ilahi Bakhsh was missing for three years after being abducted during a military raid at his hometown on 7th May 2016, and remained missing until last night.
Meanwhile, Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, an organization of families of missing persons, has intensified its protest in the capital city Quetta, for the safe release of their loved ones, who they accuse are under the custody of Pakistan army.
Enforced disappearances that started in the early 2000s have never slowed down in Balochistan, in fact, the dramatic surge has been observed in the number of people going missing with each coming year.
International campaign groups including Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International also accuse Pakistani security forces as the perpetrators of ‘illegal abductions in Balochistan’.
