BNP Leader was attacked when he was travelling to Mand town in Kech district on Friday
According to the details received by the Balochistan Post, Balochistan National Party(BNP) leader, Jameel Dashti’s convoy came under heavy firing when he was on his to Mand town for an election campaign.
Jameel Dashti is an election candidate for the provincial seat of PB-47 in the by-polls.
As a result of firing, three workers of his party sustained bullet injuries, who were rushed to the nearby health facility. Jameel Dashti remained unhurt in the attack.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack; insurgent groups had carried out several attacks on election campaigns in past too.
