A man has been abducted during a raid by security forces in Mand area of Balochistan.
According to details received by The Balochistan Post, Security forces raided a house in Mand area of Balochistan on Tuesday.
“A man was arrested in a raid by Pakistani forces and moved to an undisclosed location” locals said.
Abductee has been identified as 60-year-old man, Shikari Murad s/o Gul Mohammed.
The term ‘abducted’ is widely used in Balochistan to connote arrests made by security forces as the arrested are not presented before court of law and instead kept in military camps.
International campaign groups including Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International also accuse Pakistani security forces as the culprits of ‘illegal abductions in Balochistan’.
Pakistani Military denies the allegations.
