Another woman killed in the name of so-called ‘honour’ on Friday in NaseerAbad district

According to the details received by the Balochistan Post, a man identified as Hakim Ali killed his sister Gul Khatoon and his alleged lover in ‘Goth Abdul Raheem’ town of NaseerAbad District.

According to the Police, Hakim Ali, the suspect, fled from the scene after committing the crime.

Dead bodies of the deceased were later shifted to the hospital by Manjhu Shoori police and an investigation was underway.

It is pertinent to mention that today’s incident was the third incident of ‘Honour Killing’ during this month, wherein, three women and 8 men were killed.

On 5th October, a man identified as Fida Hussain was killed by unknown armed men near Notaal Police station. The incident was declared as an ‘Honour killing’.

The second incident of this series occurred on 16th October where Mir Hassan, the suspect, killed his wife and later killed his four cousins, including a woman.

Locals complain that local administration including the police has failed to put an end to these killings and a continuous feeling of fear has sieged the minds of the locals.
