Four persons have gone missing after they were arrested by Pakistani security forces.

According to local TBP correspondents, Pakistani security forces raided the locality of Machaat in Dasht, Makuran early in the morning on Friday. During the raid at least four persons were arrested.

The detainees were then taken to undisclosed locations.

They have been identified as two brothers Moosa and Khaleel s/o Hamza, Sher Jan s/o Sheh Jan and Faisal s/o Abdul Ghafoor.

It was not clear why they were arrested but enforced disappearances are common in Balochistan.

Yesterday, two persons were arrested and taken away by Pakistani forces from Zamuran and Tejaban.

Balochistan is plagued by the enforced disappearances of Baloch youth and activists. However, recently instances of ‘women and children abductions’ have also been reported.

International campaign groups including Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International accuse Pakistani security forces as the perpetrators of ‘illegal abductions in Balochistan’.
