Pakistani security forces continue to raid different houses in Kharan for the fourth consecutive day.

According to local TBP correspondent, Pakistani security forces have continued to raid houses located in different localities of Kharan, Balochistan.

Security forces cordoned off the locality of Gawash on Friday and conducted raids on houses.

One of the houses searched during the raids belonged to a person identified as Haji Mohammad Ameen.

According to locals, no arrests were made during the raids, however, women and children were harassed. House belongings were also destroyed in the search operation.

The search operation in Kharan began four days ago after security forces were targeted with hand grenades in the town. Yesterday Pakistani forces raided houses in Mazarzai area of Kharan and arrested a mother and her three daughters. They were taken to a military camp, where they were kept for four hours, before released later on.

The family alleged that their house belongings were also looted.

Baloch National Movement, Balochistan’s largest pro-impendence political party, yesterday condemned the offensive in Kharan.

Spokesperson of BNM said in a statement released to media that the international community’s silence has provided impunity to Pakistani state forces to escalate brutalities in Balochistan.
