A man was killed by armed men in Hub Choki area of Balochistan on Wednesday.

According to details received by The Balochistan Post, unknown armed men shot dead a person near Ala Abad football ground in Hub city of district Lasbela.

The deceased was identified as Jalil Zehri.

Responsibility of the target killing has been claimed by Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a Baloch militant group.

Jeehand Baloch, spokesman of BLA said, “Jalil Zehri was killed by our fighters for his affiliation with Sanaullah Zehri, Sarfaraz Bugti and Zafar Shahwani’s death squad groups. He was also forcing Baloch locals against their will to participate in Pakistani events 14 August (Pakistani national day) and 23 March on the orders of Pakistani army.

“After being very close to Sanaullah Zehri, Jalil was lately active in Zafar Shahwani’s network in Hub. We have also carried out a full investigation on other accomplices of this network, who will all be targeted. about the other members of that group and soon we will strike them”.

Jeehand Baloch also warned Baloch youth to avoid company of people who are working against Baloch cause.
