Six killed and more than a dozen injured as a result of road accidents across Balochistan
According to the Balochistan Post correspondent, road accidents took six lives and injured more than a dozen across Balochistan on Sunday.
Three men died on the spot when a truck collided with a car near Mashkel town of Kharan district. Whereas a woman and a child died in another road accident near Khad-koocha town of Mastung district, four injured men were shifted to the nearby hospital.
In other news, a car travelling from Hub city to the capital city Quetta had met an accident near Khuzdar, as a result, one man died on the spot and three were injured, who were shifted to hospitals in Khuzdar city.
Moreover, ten men injured as a result of the collision between two vehicles near ‘Gadank’ check-post near Chaman city.
According to the Levies sources, all the injured were immediately shifted to nearby hospital.
Road accidents are a common occurrence in Balochistan due to outdated roads. The national highways have not been upgraded for decades and the high number of inadequate dual carriageways have also proved fatal for the increasing traffic.
