During freshly launched cordon and search raids by Pakistani forces, number of people have gone missing in Pangur.
According to the details received by The Balochistan Post, Pakistani forces carried out search operations in Parom area of Balochistan’s district Panjgur on Thursday.
“Including ransacking houses and harassing women and children, personnel of forces arrested number of men and took them to undisclosed location during the operation”, locals accused..
According to the July report of the Baloch National Movement (BNM), “109 persons including women and children went missing in 87 military operations and raids from different areas of Balochistan only in the month of July”.
Enforced disappearances that started in the early 2000s have never slowed down in Balochistan, in fact, dramatic surge has been observed in the number of people going missing with each coming year.
