A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the leadership of PTI and BNP

According to the latest details, Balochistan National Party-Mengal’s six-point demand has been accepted by the leadership of upcoming government, and both have agreed on supporting each other in formation of provincial as well as central government.

Today, a meeting was held between the leadership of BNP-Mengal and PTI inQuetta, where the Vice Chairman of PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf), Shah Mehmood Qureshi, and the president of BNP-M Sardar, Akhtar Mengal signed, an MOU.

In a press conference, both leaders confirmed the agreement between two parties, according to which, BNP-M will support PTI in government formation in the centre and in return, PTI will agree to the demands of BNP’s six points.

BNP had claimed that Six points, on which the PTI agreed, were the only demands that BNP-M made from the upcoming central government and no ministries were asked in the return.

It is pertinent to mention, after general elections, all other parties were eager to meet upcoming PM Imran khan at his residence in Bani Gala and win his support, but Mr Mengal refused to go there and told the media, if someone needs their support, they have to come to Quetta.

BNP-Mengal sources have deemed the arrival of PTI leadership at Quetta and the agreement on all 6 points ‘a double-win for the party’.

Mengal’s six-point agenda presented to the PTI delegation includes a demand for recovery of Baloch missing persons.
