Five people have been killed in a road accident near Baghao in Dukki.

According to the Balochistan Post correspondent, a vehicle carrying women and children over-turned near Baghao in Dukki district.

Four people were killed, whereas, many have been hospitalised due to accident.

The unfortunate passengers were on their way to attend a marriage ceremony, when the incident happened on Wednesday.

Road accidents are a common occurrence in Balochistan due to outdated roads. The national highways have not been upgraded for decades and high number of inadequate dual carriageways have also proved fatal for the increasing traffic.

On Sunday, in a similar incident, 18 people were injured, when a van overturned near Mach town.

In another news, a fourteen-year-old boy committed suicide in Chaghi district. It could not be ascertained why the young boy had killed himself.
