The Balochistan Post has learnt from reliable hospital sources that at least three Chinese nationls were killed in today’s suicide attack in Dalbandin, Balochistan.
A personnel of FC, a paramilitary Pakistani force, had also died in the attack.
At least seven others, which included Chinese nationals, were severally injured and were moved to Karachi by air.
According to details, The Balochistan Post can confirm through reliable sources that multiple casualties were brought to Shah Fahd hospital soon after today’s attack in Dalbandin.
The casualties included three Chinese nationals and one FC soldier who had lost their lives, whereas, seven people were severally injured.
According to sources soon after the attack Shah fahad hospital was completely sealed down and multiple casualties were brought into the hospital.
Medical team of Shah Fahd hospital was not allowed to provide any medical assistance as Pakistani military medical teams themselves provided first aid.
Media persons were also not allowed to enter the hospital.
It is pertinent to mention that government of China has also activated the emergency response mechanism after the suicide attack.
The official statement from Government of People’s Republic of China said that it strongly condemns the violent attack in Balochistan today and expresses sympathy with the victims.
Earlier, a suicide attacker had targeted a bus carrying Chinese engineers and other employees of Saindak project in Dalbandin city of Chaghi district on Saturday.
“The attacker, waiting in a small truck along the route, exploded the vehicle when the bus carrying Chinese engineers came close to him,” said Dostain Dashti, a senior police officer in the region.
BLA’s spokesperson, Jeehand Baloch, claimed responsibility for the suicide attack. Jeehand Baloch said the attack was carried out by Rehan Baloch, who as per The Balochistan Post’s sources is elder son of BLA’s senior most commander Ustad Aslam Baloch.
