Four people including a woman and a child were killed when CTD’s forces raided a house in Dasht town near Quetta, Balochistan on Wednesday.

According to details received by The Balochistan Post, CTD (Counter-terrorism department) acted upon the information of a militant hide-out in ‘Tera Meel’ area of Dasht town.

According to CTD, their personnel were attacked when they reached the hideout. ‘A suicide bomber also blew him up near a police vehicle’, the CTD officials claimed.

4 people including a woman and her 5-year-old child were killed by security forces, whereas, seven policemen also sustained injuries during the incident.

As per the officials, the killed belonged to a banned outfit, however, other sources are suspecting a fake encounter. ‘It is totally nonsense to accuse a Baloch woman of being part of a banned religious outfit,’ a local source told TBP.

In another attack on a Police vehicle in Quetta, at least two people died while another was injured. The incident happened at Nawa Killi area of Quetta.
