A man who went missing couple of days ago has been severely tortured and thrown at a road-side.
According to the details received by The Balochistan Post, Muslim s/o Muhammad Raheem was forcibly taken away by, what the locals accuse, personnel of Pakistani security forces on 18th June from Sholeeg town of Gwadar District.
The news of his disappearance was also published by TBP on the day he went missing. He was arrested along with six others.
Raheem was found last night in severely injured condition. “They considered him dead and threw away his body, but he survived somehow”, speculated a local.
A similar case was witnessed in 2011 when Pakistani forces abducted a young man, Nasir Dagarzai, from kharan, and threw his body on the roadside. Nasir had received bullet injuries and his killers had considered him dead, but he survived.
Nasir was picked up again by secret services, while he was on his way to a hospital for treatment. His bullet-riddled dead body was later dumped.
Nasir’s story was immortalized in the famous movie “The Line of Freedom” by British filmmaker, David Whitney.
