Different armed groups in Balochistan have claimed responsibility for multiple attacks carried out against Pakistani security forces and state installations.
Baloch Liberation Army, Balochistan Liberation Front, Baloch Republican Army and Lashkar-e-Balochistan took responsibility for different attacks carried out over last two days in Balochistan.
According to details received by The Balochistan Post, BLA took responsibility for an attack carried out against Pakistani forces near Kahan, Balochistan. Spokesperson of the organisation, Jeehand Baloch, called media outlets and claimed that fighters from BLA were behind an ambush attack that killed at least one Pakistani personnel and injured several others.
Lawang Baloch, spokesperson of Lashkar-e-Balochistan, claimed responsibility for an attack that was carried out in Niwano near Zamuran. He claimed that LeB fighters attacked a pakistani security forces outpost with rocket propelled grenades and heavy weaponry. According to Lawang Baloch, at least four Pakistani personnel were killed in this attack, whereas, many others were injured.
Balochistan Liberation Front’s spokesperson Gohram Baloch called media outlets and accepted responsibility for attack on a construction company that was carried out on China funded China Pakistan Economic Corridor route in Gresha near Khuzdar, yesterday. Gohram Baloch said that 7 vehicles of the construction company were destroyed in this attack. He warned that construction companies involved in exploitation projections will be targeted again.
Sarbaz Baloch of Baloch Republican Army claimed that fighters from BRA were behind an attack that killed two Pakistani personnel and injured many others. He said that attack was carried out in Kolwah parg area of Balochistan.
Attack by armed groups have considerably increased in Balochistan where the current phase of ‘war for liberation’ has entered its 18th year.
