GwahramBaloch, the spokesman of Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), categorically denied the false and baseless allegations made by the US-based analyst Dr. Lawrence Sellin. Dr. Sellin in his article “The Iran-Pakistan border is a geopolitical powder keg” clams that Iran is supporting BLF, and insists that BLF sanctuaries and its leader Dr. Allah Nazar are inside Iranian territory.
In the response, GwahramBaloch termed such claims ridiculous and meaningless which are tantamount to negate the existing ground realities. Gwahram Baloch stressed that Balochistan Liberation Front is the most active organization in Balochistan that is resisting Pakistani forces.
He also added that Balochistan Liberation Front is the greatest threat to exploitive joint venture of China and Pakistan, China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). He added that Pakistan’s notorious intelligence agency ISI is using all the means and resources at its disposal to defame Balochistan Liberation Front thorough baseless propaganda in order to reduce its popularity and power.
GwahramBaloch also suggested to Dr. Lawrence to refrain from biased reporting and blindingly believing on Pakistan-sponsored narrative where media is under the control of Pakistan Army and there is a complete media blackout in occupied Balochistan. Therefore, it is the ethical responsibility of international journalists and researchers to come and try to study the actual circumstances in Balochistan; where enforced disappearance, military operations and policy of ‘kill and dump’ by Pakistani security forces are the order of the day.
He further added that Dr. Lawrence and other international analysts must go in person and see the level of atrocities and war crimes committed by Pakistani forces in Balochistan.
GwahramBaloch also refuted with strong words the claim of Balochistan Liberation Front operating as a proxy. He said that Balochistan Liberation Front is a national organization which is rooted in common masses for the freedom of Balochistan, and terming it otherwise is utterly baseless and misleading.
GwahramBaloch also categorically rejected Dr. Lawrence Sellin claims linking Baloch freedom movement with drug mafia. He added that drug mafia is but scared of BLF not otherwise. And such allegations are directed to undermine the stature of BLF which is utterly disgusting and out of the context, thus linking it with drugs mafia is equated to support Pakistani propaganda either wittingly or unwittingly. Internationally acclaimed researcher Matthew Green also verified the fact that Imam Bheel, an internationally wantednarcokingpin, is fearful of BLF.
Therefore, in future,analysts like Dr. Lawrence Sellin and others must analyze and research about existing ground realities of Balochistan before commenting or anchoring on false reporting of Pakistan controlled media that is a propaganda tool to support state-sponsored narrative and try to defame the genuine Baloch freedom struggle for a free Balochistan on secular and democratic settings.
