Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for attack on former spokesman of Balochistan government led by Dr. malik Baloch.

Jan Muhammad Buledi, who is also a member of provincial assembly (MPA) of Balochistan, came under attack near Buleda, Kech, when travelling with his convoy and security squad.

Mr. Buledi, who was first selected as MPA in 2002, is also member of Public Accounts Committee of Islamabad backed Balochistan government. He is affiliated with National Party (NP).

Yesterday, unknown armed gunmen had attacked his convoy in Manaz near Buleda. At least three, including family members of Mr. Buledi, sustained critical injuries in the attack, however, Mr. Buledi escaped unscathed.

Today spokesman of BLF, Guharram Baloch, claimed responsibility for the attack and said fighters from his organisation carried out the attack. BLF, an armed organisation ‘struggling for independence of Balochistan’, is led by doctor turned famous Baloch leader Dr. Allah Nazar Baloch.

Guharram Baloch accused Jan Muhammad Buledi of ‘collaborating with Pakistani military in Baloch genocide’. “Buledi fully supported Baloch genocide during Dr. Malik Baloch’s government and intensified military operations and killings of Baloch activists”, Guharram Baloch said while talking to journalists.

He further said: “During their government mass graves were discovered from Tootak near Khuzdar containing bodies of 169 Baloch. National Party (NP) and their spokesman Jan Muhammad Buledi vehemently defended these acts.

“Provincial spokesman of Balochistan government had openly confessed that 9000 Baloch were arrested under National Action Plan. These arrested people have never been produced before courts of law and are still missing without trace. Dr. Malik Baloch, National Party and their leaders are fully responsible for this.”

Guharram Baloch added that National Party is still operating death squads, which are led by Mullah Barkat, Rashid Pattan, US designated drug baron Imam Bheel and Ali Haidar. Jan Muhammad Buledi is the political face of these criminals.

Guharram Baloch also accused provincial health minister of Balochistan, Dr. Rehmat Saleh, of running a death squad in Panjgur, Balochistan.
