Two main armed organisations in Balochistan, Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) and Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) have formed an alliance. Both organisations have also decided to carry out joint activities against Pakistan.

The news of the alliance was released today to media by Guharam Baloch, the spokesman of BLF.

Guharam Baloch said that the high commands of both organisation were continuously negotiating on the matter for three months. “After thorough discussions, we have finally reached on the decision to formulate a plan to carry out joint activities against the enemy,” Mr. Baloch told journalists via satellite phone.

“Our target and ultimate destination are exactly same, therefore, we have decided to work closely together to achieve our joint objective of independence of Balochistan. Political differences in such struggles are natural and we also had differences between each other but we have overcome these for the greater cause of independence,” Guharam Baloch said.

Guharam Baloch also thanked leaders of BLA for agreeing to form alliance and carry out joint activities.

“We have advised all our units across Balochistan to work closely with BLA on both operational and logistical basis,” Mr. Baloch added.

The news of the alliance is considered a huge “positive” development in Baloch struggle for independence as political activists have continuously requested Baloch political and armed organisations to form an united front.

  1. Formation of alliance in between BLA & BLF fighting Units is no doubt a great achievement which would tantamount the morale of Sarmachars & oppressed people of Balochistan to encounter & defeat their enemy & would rapidly take Baloch nation to its final goal of Freedom. The leadership of both Organisations BLA & BLF deserves all appreciations & Salutations of people of Balochistan who have been sacrificing their dearest ones since the occupation of Balochistan in 1948 by PakArmy. Baloch youth & Elders have been defying their enemy in several groups separately which has cost them heavy losse; but never hesitated to defend his suffering masses including women and children; young & old; their land, properties & honour. People of Balochistan suffered great losses because of disunity among struggling Sarmachars in the past. But recent alliance in between BLA &BLF have created great momentum & inspirations not only the Sarmachars but entire Baloch nation who had been praying for the Unity of all Baloch people including those who have yet not decided to merge in new alliance. The door of greater alliance is open for every Party, Group, individual who have been engaged in sincere services to Free Balochistan Cause. Baloch nation is proud of those Loyal Baloch diaspora who devotedly contributed their time and energy and high lighted the problem of Balochistan all around the world.
