Scores of houses have been burnt and many men arrested during a military operation in Lehri area of Sibbi, The Balochistan Post correspondent from the region has reported.

The reports compiled from locals by TBP correspondent suggest a military operation has continued for three long days in Lehri, Sibbi. The Pakistani security forces arrested many men, harassed women and children and burnt many houses during the offensive.

The locals have claimed that they are being forced to evict the area. New military checkpoints have also been installed, which have made it impossible for locals to even transport food items due to unnecessary harassment and search processes conducted at these checkpoints.

The true number of people arrested and other casualties could not be ascertained due to scarce communication resources in the area because of the military operation.
