Road accidents in Sibbi, Zhob and JafarAbad districts took two lives and injured 14 others on Wednesday

According to the details received by the Balochistan Post, a passenger bus turned over while dodging another vehicle killing one and injuring several. The incident occurred near Kili Badinzai in Zhob district on Wednesday.

A child was killed as a result of the accident and ten others were injured. All the injured were shifted to the nearby hospital.

In another incident, a car collided with a tractor near ‘Naari bunk’ in Sibbi district.

As a result of the collision, three men were injured, who were later shifted to the hospital.

A high-speed truck killed a woman and injured another when they were travelling on donkey-carts near Dera Allah Yar in JafarAbad district.

According to the police, the truck was over-speeding and failed to control the vehicle when found three donkey-carts in front of it. The person injured in the accident was later shifted to the hospital.

Road accidents are a common occurrence in Balochistan due to outdated roads. The national highways have not been upgraded for decades and the high number of inadequate dual carriageways have also proved fatal for the increasing traffic.
