Update: According to latest details, at least 7 policemen have been killed in the attack, whereas, as many as 15 people have suffered critical injuries.

Some sources are confirming that the attack was a suicide attack.

Original News: A strong explosion in Quetta has rocked the city.

According to details, a huge blast was heard in Quetta city.

A police truck has been targeted near GPO roundabout on Zarghoon road in Quetta. The site is not far from Balochistan legislative assembly, where the provincial Chief Minister had resigned a while ago.

Security around the city was on high alert due to presence of Pakistan’s Prime Minister in city.

There are reports of multiple causalities, however, exact details are yet to reach The Balochistan Post.
