Spokesman of Baloch Liberation army (BLA), Jeehand Baloch, has claimed responsibility for attacking Pakistani security forces twice in 24 hours in the same area.

The claim emerged after news of heavy fighting in areas of Bolan was reported. Locals heard Bomb blasts and heavy firing on Thursday evening and early on Friday. News outlets reported battles between armed persons and Pakistani security forces.

According to recent reports, Jeehand Baloch, spokesman of BLA, has told media outlets that fighters from BLA attacked Pakistani forces on Thursday and Friday in Jhalari and Komblari area of Bolan.

Jeehand Baloch said that BLA attacked a post of Pakistani Army in Jhalari area of Bolan on Thursday. “Pakistani forces suffered heavy losses in this attack,” claimed Mr. Baloch.

BLA’s official twitter handle also tweeted about the attack.

Jeehand Baloch added that BLA fighters targeted Pakistani forces again on Friday morning killing three personnel and injuring many others. “BLA fighters attacked Pakistani Army personnel who tried to chase our fighters early on Friday morning,” claimed Mr. Baloch.

Jeehand Baloch said that Pakistani forces were defeated in the battle. He claimed that Pakistani forces then bombarded the area with long range artillery and mortars.

“Civilians will be the likely target of Pakistani Army now”, said Mr. Baloch
